How To Go Viral On TikTok With AI

Combine both for a powerful ecommerce marketing campaign

7/16/2024 | Now Trending

When it comes to digital marketing, TikTok and AI are two trends that show no signs of slowing down. And now you can combine both of these for a powerful ecommerce marketing campaign. When it comes to online business, direct response copywriting has always been one of the most difficult aspects.

In other words, writing persuasive ads and videos has never been easy, until now. If you want to go viral on social media, and especially TikTok, let's break down how to do it:

1. Hook Attention

The first thing you need to do is write your "hook," no matter whether you are selling B2B or B2C. Using generative AI like ChatGPT or Claude, you can provide a prompt such as this:

"You are a master TikTok video creator. Write a compelling hook that makes users stop in their tracks right away. Include a compelling question, cliffhanging tease, or rare fact in the first 2 seconds."

Your goal is to make users stop scrolling and continue watching your video. If your hook doesn't land, then the rest of your video won't matter at all.

2. Earn More Watch Time

Once you've allowed AI to create your hook, your work still isn't done. (Not that entering a few words into a prompt is much work anyway). But now you should feed your AI a prompt to get into the details of your viral TikTok advertisement.

Prompt your generative AI with something like:

"Dive deeper into the hook's premise. What additional facts, figures, or proof can you provide? Now it is time to stay interesting, but with less hype and more objective statements."

3. End With A Call To Action

Once you have finished the main part of your viral TikTok video, it's time to apply some classic marketing skills. End with a call-to-action. This will give the viewer something to do with all of that built up interest or desire in your product. Something as simple as "Click the link in my bio" will suffice.

4. Automate The Video Creation Process

Did you know you don't have to record a video yourself? If you or your ecommerce client don't like being on screen, then you can use AI instead. While the specific companies are always evolving, you can search for "Generative AI videos" in Google and find several.

From here, you just feed it your script and pick some stock photos. Then, the AI goes to work and even creates human avatars that look like they're talking. If you don't have time to record videos, this is the perfect solution.

In Conclusion

It's not always easy to go viral, especially on TikTok. The competition is fierce. But by using AI to write and even "record" the videos, you can increase your output. Not every ad will be a social media sensation.

But if you follow digital marketing techniques and let AI do the heavy lifting, you can eventually see excellent video metrics and conversions. After all, it only takes one viral TikTok to put your brand on the map.
